Q1. Where is the "Research & Development" application form on the web site?
In the first place, please click "Research & Development" on the left of main page. In the second place, please roll down on the screen which the incipit is WE SUPPORT RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT in TRIBOLOGY, and click "The grants application form".


Q2. Where is the "Symposium" application form on the web site?

Q3. Where is the "Young Tribologists" application form on the web site?

Q5. Is the student eligible to be granted?
Is the collaboration research between two laboratories acceptable?
As our basic policy, the TTRF grants are to be awarded to research themes. Therefore, application from students and one application from two or more laboratories would be acceptable.
Q6. Which is the deadline, the date received or mailed?
The deadline for application is the date which we receive it. If the submission may not meet the deadline, the application by e-mail or FAX will be better way than by mail.

Q7. Is the grant for the applicant or his/her institution?
Pursuant to our foundation's policy, the grant shall be provided to applicant's institution as Gift Grant. Accordingly, we would like the grantees to provide the information to an appropriate person who deal with the financial matters at their institution.

Q8. I would like to know your review/comment on our application.
As TTRF policy, we don't provide the screening reviews to any applicants. The application forms shall be strictly screened with the criteria below, and it may not be selected due to the priority even if the research theme is superior.

2. Academic significance
3. Possible impact on industry
