2010 Research Grant

TAIHO KOGYO TRIBOLOGY RESEARCH FOUNDATION was established in the United States in 2000 with the main purpose of supporting research and development activities in the field of tribology. But we had eliminated this support for 2009 due to the serious economic crisis. For 2010 TTRF made a decision to take up the support for the tribology-related research and development works.

The foundation invites applications for grants during the period from March 2010 to June 2010 with the purpose of supporting establishment of and promoting international cooperation system in the field of tribology. The total amount of grants will be 50,000 dollars, which means 1,000 – 30,000 dollars will be provided to each applicant.

 Any person, except private company person, can file application as far as his/her research theme is focused on tribology-related technology and useful to the industry. A number of applications will be welcome.
